Using this site
Fuel Cost of Trip provides free fuel cost and running-cost calculators -- a fuel cost calculator, a trip gas cost calculator, a fuel estimator, an mpg calculator, a commute cost calculator, a cost per mile calculator, an EV charging cost calculator, a fuel savings calculator, and a fuel economy unit converter -- for educational and informational use. No account or sign-up is required, and there is no charge to use any page on this site.
Estimates, not a substitute for real measurement
The calculations on this site use standard fuel-economy and unit-conversion formulas and, where used, a published third-party fuel-price dataset -- not original research or a substitute for your own fuel receipts, a full-to-full fill-up, or a vehicle's own trip computer. These are estimates; real consumption varies with driving, load and conditions, and every figure shown depends on the inputs you enter. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell, finance or operate any specific vehicle. Fuel-price figures shown as a starting point are stated as of this site's last update and change weekly -- always check a current price before relying on a number for a real purchase or trip decision.
